A quieter place to find a poem

PoemCove is an independent contemporary poetry journal. We publish complete original English poems in collections shaped around real reader needs: a relationship, a season, a milestone, a difficult feeling or a moment that needs language.

Why collections?

Often there is no single “right” poem. A brief note may suit a card, while a longer reflective piece belongs at a reading or in private. Each collection brings together different forms, speakers and emotional angles so readers can choose honestly.

What you will not find here

We do not republish famous poems, invent historical provenance, imitate named poets or attach fictional human authors to editorial work. We also do not use fabricated ratings, popularity or reader counts.

Independent and original

PoemCove is not affiliated with EveryPoem, Poemverse, PoemsWorld or any poet, publisher or literary estate. Traffic evidence may inform which reader needs we address, but every poem and every piece of public editorial text is newly written for PoemCove.
